Cirebon, 10 October 2023 — The ELT Echo Journal and ELTD Department collaborating with AsiaCALL hosted the sixth installment of the English Language Teaching Research and Innovation Series (ELTRIS) in TBI Room 3, the 2nd floor of the FITK Building. In this episode, Professor Huriyah served as the keynote speaker, delivering a presentation on the subject of “Factors Contributing to Learner Success in Language Learning.” Maemunah, M. Hum, took on the role of the moderator for this event, which drew attendees from both faculty members and students of the English Department.
Throughout this customary gathering, participants engaged actively in discussion sessions. The outcome of these discussions highlighted the significance of several factors in fostering success among English language learners, including setting clear language learning goals, establishing a supportive speech community, cultivating a positive classroom environment, and transforming the English learning experience into an enjoyable and knowledge-enriching journey.
